Arguably the longest clip of time I have gone in more than a year since my runs had started to be recorded a couple of years ago. Today was like running in a walk in cooler. Add 15-20 mph winds, and wind chill put it in the mid to high 20's at best. Brutal!!

It was a difficult 6+ mile run but was good to get out for a stretch. This has been an especially painful and emotional week for me, and I wish i could get out more, but the snows, freezing weather has really made it difficult. The sunshine did feel good on my face today though!!

While I am pretty well ahead of last January's pace, the run's are not coming easy. I think it has much to do with the time of year. I tend to feel slower and heavier. I clearly do not eat as well as I should over this period. I am sure I am not alone.

I need to get back into the gym, along with my running. That's what's missing.

January, icy cold and running

This year sees me at just over 20 miles of runs just 9 days into the year. While I am ahead of my pace from last January, it is not at all coming easy. The weather has been at consistently record lows here. Averaging in the low 30s during the days, to single digits and teens in the evenings.

I hope we get back to our normal low 40-50s during the days soon.

Ramping the running back

Workout regimen, speaking of changes to it and how it will be a part of vacation.

Mixing it up

For the past 3 months, I have been steady running in excess of 100 miles. This has been good for me, but I need more gym time, and this will mean amping back the runs and getting 2-3 days a week of free weights and nautilus work. Honestly the change has been good. I am actually running a little smoother and more consistently at 7 or more miles when I have been running now for more than 3 weeks.

So, I guess my pointer here, is mix it up. It breaks an monotony and it keeps the body tone all over.

Running and some long overdue follow up

Commenting on the benefits of Nutrilite in my workout regimen.

The Business of Health, and Nutrition

I have had a little (an understatement) home business for sometime now, that I have done little to nothing to promote other than what is seen on this specific page. This business however has huge income potential, and can set me or anyone up for life if they simply choose to use the resources and tools available to grow it. Before the years end, I plan to raise, the Cookenstein Enterprises Page. On this page, I can more efficiently set up customers and present items that I both reccomend and use myself.

I will be able to take payments more seemlessly and directly, via credit cards, checks through Pay Pal, and utilize several very secure methods of easy check out as well. I am looking forward to it's development, but feel free to visit one of my more generic, but very secure sites to view, set up an account, or inquire with me directly and see the thousands of popular items available through my business.

Good things to see

As the business keeps growing, it is a bonus to see the "green" offerings we have established, and it is coming across the board.
